Even if Disney wins this battle, the war will be lost as anonymous apps will rise up.

I believe that Call Screening could signal the death of spam calls.

One nice thing about living in Canada is that if a spam message comes from the government in English-only, then you already know it's spam. Our federal government always uses English and French, (in their text and in their links) and so do some prov…

The macOS app store has Borderlands 2 (for a high price) but that app still doesn't have any App Privacy statement uploaded. If it wasn't spyware, you'd think they would have uploaded a statement by now. It's been five years.

Apple wants consumers to think macOS Tahoe is the new "Chevy" of the desktop OSs.

EddyMac said: Nothing about that packaging looks even remotely like Apple's packaging. You'd have to have zero knowledge of Apple products to fall for that. Correct. This isn't a case of counterfeit products. This is, however, a case of "t…

Given a choice between two identical products (like iPhones, forks, or cashew nuts) where one says "Made in X," where X is a dictatorship, and the other says "Made in Y," where Y is a democracy, I would pay for the one made in Y, even if it's at a m…

Roughly half of women are comfortable wearing necklaces, compared with only 10% of men. And 10% of the population belong to religions that object to necklaces and jewelry. By comparison, roughly 75% of the population wears a baseball cap occasional…

Apple should stop selling smart phones (ie, phones which run other people's software) and just sell feature phones. Apple's software is good, and it's enough for me.

I can't see it on Canada's app store. I wanted to read its privacy information. "This app is currently not available in your country or region."
