Epic CEO Tim Sweeney grilled on platform agreements, V-Bucks
It should be illegal to have in app currency that disguises the real monetary value of the cr@p you are ‘buying’.
Every in app purchase price should be shown in local currency so it is clear how much you are spending
I personally think that games with in app purchases should be heavily regulated in the same way gambling is. It’s very toxic and exploits children. -

13-inch iPad Pro review: hardware of the future running software of the past
Excellent review. All of the writers at AppleInsider agree that picking a number lacks nuance.I'm on Google's side here. A number represents a DECISION. "Anyone" can waffle on about the pro's and con's of a product and avoid making a decision.
But an expert needs to step up to the mark and be a decision maker; draw a line in the sand and give an objective score. I like the score 3.5.

Wedding banned - Apple Watches not welcome at fashionista's ceremony
beowulfschmidt said:As the article alludes, I guess that if a guest has a medical condition, such as diabetes, and uses the Apple Watch as a monitor using one of the devices for such purpose, they're just SOL, huh? Were I such a person (fortunately, I am not), the couple would have to make a choice, either I wear my watch, or I don't attend. I'd be fine not attending the wedding of someone who put their "vision" ahead of my health.I am also fortunate that I don't know any people who would actually do this.
At my wedding I am going to insit EVERY guest, and YES even small babies, wear a vacheron constantin. There will be specialist authenticity checks at the door.
