Been using it since last night on ipad, iphone and watch. I think it's very ugly. Not a fan. Prefer the very flat look. oh well.
Not to worry. They’ll change it again in a few years. The design people have to have something to justify their existence, right?
What a shitty thing to say. You want to live in a dull, grey world, go ahead, but attacking an entire industry as if life would be better if they didn't have jobs is quite a twat thing.

Whatever - if you get excited when they change the color scheme and shape of the icons in an OS then good for you. I’ve been around long enough to see ideas recycled to give something a ‘fresh new look.’ I care about function. To the extent that the color and design of the interface enhance function I’m all for it. The rest seems to be designed to satisfy people who use the word ‘twat.’
It's not for me visually. The glass idea maybe isn't bad per se but I've seen a few images that seem make it look like there isn't enough 'separation' between what's on top and below some interface options. Especially with text involved. It mixes everything up visually. Colours can clash too.
The 'glass' dock looked OK but I think it's going to need a lot of work to get right.
