Apple on Monday announced the Logitech Muse, a new spatial stylus accessory for its Apple Vision Pro platform that will allow for precise interaction and input in virtual and augmented reality.

The Logitech Muse is a spatially-tracked stylus that will be supported in the upcoming version of VisionOS. According to Apple, the stylus will allow users to draw, measure, or interact with virtual objects while using Apple Vision Pro.

And, that's done with precision. The demo showed a designer measuring an object with precise dimensions appearing on the display of the headset.

This could make the stylus handy for more hands-on and precise interaction while working in collaborative apps like Spatial Analogue. Users, for example, can jot virtual notes in the air for others to read.

As of writing, there's no current information on supported apps, pricing, or availability for the Logitech Muse. However, compatibility with the platform will be arriving alongside support for VR game controllers, spatial widgets, and other features with the arrival of VisionOS 26 in the fall.

We so need Maxon to bring out ZBrush for Vison (digital sculpting in 3d stereo spatial view) in conjunction with a new spatial Logitech, Apple or Wacom pen/stylus!
